  • Day 01 Ahmedabad

    Afternoon tour of the Sarkhej mausoleum complex and the Vishala Village complex with its superb utensils museum. Stay at House of Mangaldas Girdhardas, a heritage hotel owned by a former textile industrialist family. Visit the nearby mosques. Stay at Hotel in Ahmedabad.

  • Day 02 Ahmedabad

    Today early morning enjoy the heritage walk of the old walled city of Ahmedabad – This walking tour offers an opportunity to see the old quarters of Ahmedabad lined with the beautifully carved wooden facades of havelis. Later visit Gandi Ashram, Huteesing Jain Temples, Siddi Sayed Mosque and night market at Law Garden. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Ahmedabad.

  • Day 03 Palitana

    Today visit Calico Museum – Calico Museum of Textiles, one of India’s leading specialized museums. The collections include textile swatches of Indian origin found at archaeological sites of Egypt, silk sarees from across India, double-ikat silk sarongs made in Patan for the Indonesian market, chintz and curtains made from Dutch, British and Portuguese colonial powers in Gujarat, floral embroidery from Punjab, shawls from Kashmir, 18th century tie-and-dye, richly embroidered Mughal tent of Shah Jahan whose palace is nearby, royal wardrobes of Rajasthan, cloth paintings and manuscripts, religious narrative cloth paintings like Pichwais and Kalamkaris, etc. Also visit the other museums of Ahmedabad strong on folk art collections, Post Lunch Continue to Palitana – enroute visit Lothal to see the site museum and archaeological site offering an insight into the town planning of the Indus Valley Civlisation.   • Day 04 Palitana

    Ascend the Shatrunjaya Hill near Palitana town to see the huge complex of about 863 temples crowning two ridges of the summit. Descend and relax at Hotel in Palitana.

  • Day 05 Gondal

    After breakfast proceed to Gondal – Check into your hotel pre booked – Post Lunch, see the magnificent carvings and collections of the 1740s Naulakha Palace at Gondal. Stay at the Riverside Palace/Orchard Palace heritage hotel.

  • Day 06 Gondal

    Day excursion to Junagadh to see the ancient Uparkot Fort, splendid Gothic palaces of the Nawabs and the flamboyant 19th century mausoleum complex. Return to Gondal, calling in en route to see the 4th century Buddhist caves of Khambalida.

  • Day 07 Sasangir

    After breakfast, travel to Gir and take a mini-bus tour of the Interpretation Zone, an enclosed cross-section of Gir habitats. Dinner and overnight in a private orchard of Gir with a forest view.

  • Day 08 Sasangir

    Am / Pm Safaries in Gir National Park – A tapestry of dry deciduous forests, acacia scrub and grassland, fed by rivers and reservoirs, Gir is the last abode of the Asiatic lion and has a thriving population of panther (leopard), sambar, chital (spotted deer), nilgai (blue bull antelope) and wild boar. Gir is also one of the major habitats of chousingha (the world’s only four-horned antelope) and chinkara (Indian gazelle) that are hard to spot in the teak forests along the game drive trails. Among the many birds of Gir, changeable hawk eagle, crested serpent eagle, Bonneli’s eagle, shaheen peregrene falcon, laggar falcon, shikra, painted sandgrouse, quails, black-hooded and golden oriels, marshall’s and common iora, Asian paradise flycatcher, tickell’s blue, red-throated, verditer and Asian brown flycatchers, yellow-crowned, brown-capped pygmy, black-rumped flameback woodpeckers, green and blue-cheeked bee-eaters, coppersmith barbet, common, lesser pied and white-throated kingfisher, blossom-headed parakeet, hoopoe, black, ashy and white-bellied drongos, rufous treepie, large cuckoo shrike, small minivet, red-vented and white-eared bulbul, tawny-bellied, yellow-eyed, jungle and large grey babblers, grey-breasted, ashy, rufous-fronted, plain, jungle and graceful prinias, zitting cisticola, clamorous reed-warbler, booted warbler, greenish warbler, lesser and Hume’s warbler, orphean warbler and blyth’s reed warbler, are among the many birds that could be seen here. Those interested in herpetology can visit the crocodile breeding farm at Sasan.

  • Day 09 Diu

    Breakfast at Hotel and proceed to Diu.Check into hotel Radhika Beach Resort – Today visit Nagerseth Haveli, Diu Fort and Gangeshwar Temple and Panikotha – Evening visit Old Town of Diu. Evenings at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Diu.

  • Day 10 Diu

    Today visit some beautiful churches of Diu and colorful fish market. Early afternoon visit Vegetable Market of Una Town. Rest of the day at leisure.

  • Day 11 Mandvi

    Drive to Morbi – Stay at Darbargah – Visit local market which is really photogenic in morning hours – Later visit Mani Mandir, Wellingdon Secretariat, Suspension Bridge – Stay at Morbi.

  • Day 12 Mandvi

    Drive to Mandvi en route visit Anjar town known for its Iron Crafts like Knifes, Swords, Nutter Cutters and Dagers. Continue to Mandvi – Rest of the day at leisure.

  • Day 13 Kutch

    Breakfast at Beach Camp – Later visit Vijay Vilas Palace and Mandvi Town – Mandvi is known for its 400 year old ship building centre. The local carpenters still make ocean going Dhows in much the same way that their ancestors had done a century ago. One can go and visit the men at work, shaping the great vessels with hand tools and coaxing the seasoned timber into shape. The carrying capacity of these boats can vary from 250 tons to 1000 tons. The predecessors of these very same ships had roamed the Indian Ocean and made Kutch a maritime power – Stay at Beach Camp.Proceed to Shaam E Sarhad – Stay at Hodka – Shaam E Sarhad
